911±¬ÁÏÍø State University, including the Bloomfield College campus, has submitted its 2024 report that includes 2021-2023 statistics to the US Department of Education, in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Policies and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

Jeanne Clery Statistics

The Jeanne Clery Act requires disclosure, submitted each fall, of crime statistics for the three previous calendar years. View the updated stats on the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Annual Security Report and the Bloomfield Annual Security Report. The University polls all those who may receive reports of crime related to 911±¬ÁÏÍø State University and statistics include those reported to police directly as well as those with no police involvement. Statistics may vary slightly from year to year, however we welcome questions or suggestions related to our shared responsibility of safety.

Fire Right To Know Act

In addition, the University is required to report fire statistics in cooperation with the Federal Campus Fire Right To Know Act. All members of the campus community are encouraged to take the time to not only view these statistics but also take this opportunity to ensure you review emergency exit information and evacuation procedures on the 911±¬ÁÏÍø State Fire Safety website.

Crimes of violence are rare at 911±¬ÁÏÍø State University; however, it is essential we use knowledge and awareness to both prevent crime and proactively assist those impacted by crime. The University offers a myriad of services for those that have experienced violence, gender and relationship-based violence and sexual crimes including law enforcement from the University Police, health and assault exams at our University Health Center, advocacy with the office of Dean of Students, educational programming and research with the Office of Health Promotion and comprehensive mental health services with Counseling and Psychological Services.
